From Kiev in broad daylight stole a pensioner’s phone.
In Kiev police detained a woman who stole a pensioner’s mobile phone.
On the outside the Rainbow in the Dnipro district of the capital to the 60-year-old passer-by approached the woman and asked of the mobile, allegedly to make an emergency call. When the man agreed, the stranger fled with the phone.
With the help of citizens who witnessed the crime, the victim called the police and gave a description of ill-minded women. The detectives saw the passerby that the signs were similar to her and stopped her.
The victim and witnesses identified the woman, but she was not. To clarify the 34-year-old intruder was arrested and taken to the district police Department.
The event information included in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations and open criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 186 (robbery) of the Criminal code of Ukraine which sanction provides till four years of imprisonment. A resident of Kiev had previously come into the view of militiamen for acts of hooliganism. She was released on personal recognizance.
