Ukraine may receive IMF tranche by the end of the year.
The head of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine Alexander danyluk hopes that Ukraine will receive the next credit tranche of the International monetary Fund before the end of 2017.
The Finance Minister also announced the completion together with the IMF’s analysis of the bill on pension reform.
“In General, no significant differences we found, and I am sure that we will get a positive response from both the world Bank and the IMF”, – said danyluk.
In response to the question about risks for the economy of Ukraine in case of non-receipt before the end of the year tranche of the IMF, the Finance Minister expressed confidence that the funds will be received.
But in General, we are not in a situation where a month or two something changed. We worked very hard to strengthen our economy, to now not to count days and months. The main issue is to adopt a law on privatization, it is important to find a fair formula of gas. When we accomplish this, then the issue of the tranche would be a technical question, – said danyluk.
