If you are after the first trailer didn’t pay attention to this movie, now just take it for myself. “Berlin syndrome” (the Berlin Syndrome) is a creepy love story of a maniac and his victims, in which actors Teresa Palmer (“there goes the light…”) and Max Riemelt (“Taste the night”) played perhaps the best role in his career.
When during a vacation in Berlin, Australian photojournalist, Clare meets Andi, a charismatic local boy between them instantly there is a mutual attraction. After a walk along the streets of Berlin comes a night of passion, but what at first glance seems to start a long novel, suddenly takes a sinister turn. Claire wakes up the next morning and realizes that Andy left for work, leaving her locked in his apartment. It would seem that a ridiculous mistake. Except that he’s not going to let her go. Ever.
The world premiere took place at the Sundance film festival January 20, 2017. In Russia the film “Prosklad” plans to show “Berlin syndrome” June 1, 2017.
