Succeeding part of the “Saga” will represent all the same mixture of campaign strategy.
Strategic franchise Total War almost seventeen years entertains users around the world, and last year, thanks to Total War: Warhammer, even went beyond historical basis. Now, SEGA and Creative Assembly decided to expand even more, so to speak, a series.
The developers came up with to release a series of such spin-offs under the title Total War Saga, which will be based on “turning points” from past historical strategy Creative Assembly.
It tells Jack Lusted (Jack Lusted), the head of the first game of the Total War Saga, the upcoming part of the “Saga” will represent all the same mixture of campaign strategy, military tactics, real-time gameplay on “hundreds, if not thousands” of hours, and that conventional Total War. Just this time all the action will focus not on the whole historical period, and in a particular moment. As it was, for example, in addition Total War: Shogun 2 — Fall of the Samurai.
Lusted emphasizes that the Total War Saga in any case not be shorter or less than previous Total War. For comparison: according to the developer, gameplay the map the first spin-off is the same size as in Total War: Attila. Only displays a smaller geographic area (although it supposedly did not mean that you are faster pass!).
Creative Assembly does not reveal what exactly the event will be the first Total War Saga, but suggests that we expect a “spiritual successor to Total War: Rome II”.
