Court seized the assets of media holding Kurchenko

Lutsenko promised that by the end of the year will lose Kurchenko’s UMH.

The Pechersky district court of Kiev has seized on securities, corporate and intellectual law, as well as part of the real estate of the fluent oligarch Sergey Kurchenko.

This is stated in the court’s decision.

We are talking about the media holding UMH (UMH). Kurchenko is its ultimate beneficiary.

The court arrested the UMH at the request of investigators who investigate crimes of former President Viktor Yanukovych.

Law enforcement officers explained that the assets associated with the investigation of crimes committed by the former President, and the assignment of property or a taking to them by abuse of official position by an organized group, in especially large sizes, the laundering of illegal proceeds.

The Prosecutor General noted the risk of loss of these assets and the illegality of their origin.

The court granted the petition and seized the corporate, intellectual property, and also on the part of the real property owned by the holding UMH.
