The requirement for the renaming of Macedonia connected with the claims of Greece on this issue because they believe that the current name of the country follows the name of the Greek region of Macedonia and will cause confusion.
It is noted that in mid-July 2017 the Macedonian capital of Skopje is planning to pay an official visit, the Secretary General of the Alliance Jens Stoltenberg.
