Erdem show, spring-summer 2018
Collection Erdem recognizable due to the unique fabrics and prints. Every season, the designer Erdem Moralioglu personally develops new combinations of colors and textures on the fabric, playing with eras and looking for inspiration in art. Perhaps, for the collection spring-summer 2018 Erdem sought inspiration in the stories about Sherlock Holmes.
Suits and coats in a cage would be ideal for the fashion detective, and dresses with a draped hem for a seductive girlfriend Irene Adler.
The Erdem collection is traditionally eclectic. The designer combines jacquard, tulle, leather and fringe, flounces and bows, transforming a seemingly Royal evening dresses in fashion dresses, crop tops and skirts. Of course, Erdem — it’s not about street-style. But we are quite unable to imagine these outfits on the guests of the shows next year. They are very successfully combined with the base coats, jackets, and if this is an upper clothes — even denim!
