Colonel of the armed forces declared a suspect in the shelling of the bus under Volnovaha

The materials in the case of the attack under the Volnovaha will also be presented in the Hague.

SBU sent a notification on suspicion of Colonel of the armed forces and the citizen of Ukraine in the investigation of the shelling of civilians in Volnovakha in 2015.

This is with reference to the Deputy head of the Main investigation Department of the security services Vitaly mayakova Interfax-Ukraine.

Notice of suspicion has been directed at the places of registration of the defendants.

“We spent almost two years to gather evidence, some of which you demonstrated today, in order to identify the persons involved in this crime, that would identify them. We were able to obtain evidence which became the basis for the notification of suspicion of any particular individual, namely, the citizen of the Russian Federation, soldier Colonel Anatoly Sinelnikov and Ukrainian citizen Yuri Spatovo”, – he said.

The corresponding materials were handed over to the Ukrainian side in the international court of justice in the Hague, which considered the claim of Ukraine against Russia for the Commission of acts of terrorism and discrimination during her aggression.

“Before the trip of our delegation to the court (UN international court), they already had this information. Today we inform in Ukraine that we are ready to send this information to our courts, within the framework of our proceedings. This would be a special order as part of a conviction in absentia”, – said the first Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Dmitry Storozhuk.
