Collision under the Rada: the number of victims grows

At the moment reported four injured, among them a COP.

Today, October 17, in the clashes at the Verkhovna Rada of affected police officer and three protesters, one of whom tried to break through a metal detector.

“On Hrushevskoho street from the side of the Cabinet between the Cabinet and Parliament (where was the check point for all participants) was an attempt to break pass without regard to frameworks of metal detectors, with the result that there was a conflict. Protesters dismantled several sections of the protective frames and metal detectors, resulting in the collision occurred. Cops and guards doing everything to prevent an escalation of this conflict. Currently, at least one victim from law enforcement,” – said the press Secretary of the Ministry of internal Affairs Artem Shevchenko.

He also noted that he does not have information whether the detainees. He also called on all protesters to behave peacefully.
