In January compared to December, the production of vodka decreased by 19.3%.
The production of vodka with an alcohol content of less than 45.4% in Ukraine in January of this year decreased compared to the same month of the previous year by 18% to 1.5 million deciliters, while the production of brandy – by 1.1% to 156 thousand decaliters.
Compared to December, the production of vodka decreased by 19.3%, cognac – by 65.1%.
It is also reported that the volume of production of liqueurs and other alcoholic beverages in January 2017 increased by 62% compared to January 2016 and amounted to 350 thousand decalitres. This is 32.4% less compared to December.
Recall that the production of vodka with alcohol content of less than 45,4% in Ukraine in 2016 decreased in comparison with the year 2015 10.9% – to 16.6 million decaliters, and of cognac and brandy by 6.2 percent to 2.8 million decaliters.
