Coal from the occupied Donbass sell to Europe – Tuk

The Deputy Minister said that the fact of sale is easy to prove.

Through company-strip Russia is selling coal to Europe, which is illegally produced in occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. This was stated by the Deputy Minister on the issues of the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons of Ukraine Georgy Tuka on air of the 5th channel.

“For example, slabs, produced by Alchevsk iron and steel works, have their own unique melting. And you can’t Alchevsk slabs issue for others. As with coal, each field has its specific differences in chemical composition. But the fact that the Donbass coal basin is located on the border of two States and some mines located in the Rostov region, in fact, have identical chemical composition. So you need to consult with the Ministry of energy, will we be able through the implementation of chemical analyses to prove the identity of place of origin of coal,” explained Tuck.

“If, for example, this coal is sold on the documents in the Kuznetsk coal basin, it is very easy for you to explore. If will be issued for the mine in the Rostov – it is more complicated, but I don’t think it’s impossible,” added Tuck.
