The coach had replaced the wrong player.
A comical situation occurred during a match of the 1st round of the Champions League in Ljubljana.
There came on the football field Slovenian “Maribor” and Moscow “Spartak”, which ended in a draw with the score 1:1.
So, the chief coach of the Russian club Massimo Carrera was mistakenly replaced the wrong player.
A funny incident happened in the 85th minute of the match. Looking at the striker Promes, mentor players in red-and-white “vests” decided that his leg hurts.
In the end, he replaced it with Popov. Despite the fact that just a few minutes before that I wanted to withdraw from the game completely different player.
