Mentor Dortmund “Borussia” Peter BOS commented on regular replacement of Ukrainian newcomer Andriy Yarmolenko.
The former leader of the “Dynamo” debuted in the “Borussia” on the ninth of September in an away match against “Freiburg” – Yarmolenko played 11 minutes and did not save his team from the first season losing points in the Bundesliga.
Three of the next match (against Tottenham, “Cologne” and “Hamburg”), a Ukrainian began in the starting lineup, but only the English heard the final whistle, and matches in the Bundesliga left the field in the second half.
“Yarmolenko there are problems that do not allow him to play all 90 minutes, but he is a very good player who takes part in virtually every scoring attack of our team,” said BOS in comments to the German newspaper “Bild”.
Yarmolenko in four games in his new club scoring one goal scored, twice assisted his teammate and took part in all goal combinations.
On Saturday, Borussia D in the sixth round of the championship of Germany will play against Borussia M, and next week, Andriy Yarmolenko waiting for the Champions League match against real Madrid.
