Palestinian clashes with Israeli police
The clashes between Palestinians and Israeli army in the Old city of Jerusalem in the “day of anger” suffered by 767 people.

As previously reported, the President of the United States Donald trump announced the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and the transfer of the us Embassy there. Israeli authorities called the decision historic.
Arab and Muslim countries issued a warning that any decision to move the U.S. Embassy could heighten tensions in the region and undermine U.S. efforts to achieve Israeli-Arab peace agreement.
Jerusalem entirely under Israeli control in 1967 in the six day war. In 1980, Israel enacted the basic law by which East Jerusalem was formally annexed and United the city was declared the capital of Israel.
The UN Security Council condemned the adoption by Israel of the “basic law” on Jerusalem, Reaffirming that its adoption violated international law, according to which the capital of Israel is tel Aviv.
