Clash army and rebels in South Sudan: over a dozen dead

It is also reported about a dozen wounded.

Clashes of government troops and rebels occurred on Monday in the second largest South Sudanese town of Wau, 16 people were killed.

“The mission was sent to Wau two patrols and said they saw the bodies of 16 civilians at the hospital. There were also ten injured people”, – quotes Agency the statement of the UN mission in South Sudan.

We will remind, the conflict in South Sudan began in 2013 – two years after the country gained independence. The reason was the conflict between President Salva Kiir and Vice President Reecom Masara.
