Rahmat Akilov pleaded guilty.
A citizen of Uzbekistan Rakhmat Akilov during the hearing in the district court of Stockholm, admitted to committing the attack in the Swedish capital on 7 April.
“His position is that he recognizes a terrorist offence and agrees that he will be detained,” said lawyer counsel Akilov Johan Eriksson.

Police in Sweden have detained a man on suspicion of involvement in the attack.
