Want a little fun? A little song and dance? A bit of festive zombies in the end? All this is in the horror Comedy musical “Anna and the Apocalypse” (Anna and the Apocalypse).
The screenplay was written by Alan MacDonald and Ryan McHenry. The latter is best known for creating the viral video series “Ryan Gosling won’t eat his cereal” (love these VIDOS, by the way). He was going to direct the movie, but the cancer was visible: McHenry died in 2015 at the age of some 27 years.
Eventually, his ideas brought to life John MacPhail (“Where do we go from here?”).
“Anna and the Apocalypse” will tell about how
Young friends are forced to fight (and sing) to survive during the zombie epidemic and to break through to the building of a school that should probably be safer. But Teens do not know whether their relatives and friends still alive when they get there.
Starring Ella hunt (“true grit”), Christopher Left (“the Crimson field”), Sarah Suir (“God help the girl”) and newcomer in the movie Malcolm cumming.
Roddy hunt and Tommy Riley wrote songs and music for the film.
The picture will be premiered within the Fantastic Fest in Austin in the coming days. We wish her a warm welcome, well, watch the trailer of “Anna and the Apocalypse”, because a wonderful thing!
