Chiygoz told the details of his release

Friday, October 27, Deputy Chairman of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ilmi Umerov and Ahtem Chiygoz arrived in Kiev.

Umer thanked the international community for what they did everything for their release. He is convinced that the process of liberation of individuals begin the process of de-occupation of the Crimea and the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Chiygoz said that he had hope for release, but he didn’t expect it to happen so quickly.

“I can’t compare it to the release…. Liberation is freedom, freedom is what we fought for. It is the freedom of my people, my homeland.. A fright conducting a special operation, otherwise I can not name it, when on paper I should go home, and I take out unmarked men in balaclavas, in front of which, three years later, I learned those fascists, who took me, and taken God knows where. Until recently, we didn’t know. Eyes were that they had no desire for it, ” said Chiygoz.
