According to the municipal plans, the building must pass by the railway line.
In the Chinese city of Huaibei (Anhui province) workers moved massive four-story building 10 meters to liberate the area under the railway line.
The building, which housed government offices, was built in 2001. It is 14 meters in height and with an area of about 1200 square meters.
According to the municipal plans at the building location have to pass the railway line which connects the direction of the Lanzhou — Lianyungang and Beijing — Shanghai.
After authorities examined the effect of environmental and economic factors, they decided to move the building, not destroy it. In the end, the workers completed the task and transported the building 10 meters to the North for 28 hours.
