Car runs on hydrogen fuel cells
GM Defense, a subsidiary of General Motors, engaged in production of military vehicles, has developed a Chevrolet Silverado ZH2, which runs on hydrogen fuel cells.
While Silverado ZH2 is a just concept. This truck looks as if it is built on the basis of the Silverado HD is a new generation, which actually debuts next year. Overall it looks pretty brutal, as befits an army truck.
This concept has received a reinforced suspension Multimatic, an upgraded lithium-ion battery and new hydrogen power plant. The reserve is 400 miles, for the hydrogen car very well.
While no more information about Silverado ZH2 we have. It was recently shown at military exhibition AUSA in the United States. GM Defense is not saying what the future holds for this concept.
Recall that in 2017, General Motors and Honda decided in 2020 in the United States together to produce hydrogen fuel cells. It should get millions of dollars in savings. By 2023, the U.S. auto giant plans to develop and bring to market 15 electric vehicles and vehicles with hydrogen fuel cells.
