Chaos on the streets of Hamburg: young people are tired of rules

Fun, alcohol and fights this weekend in Hamburg walked the full. The impression that no coronavirus does not exist.

A crowd of young people and alcohol – a mixture, which becomes a cause of unrest and violence. On Sunday evening, law enforcement authorities in Hamburg had several times to intervene in conflicts between young people. The city centre resembled a festival.

No one has listened to the recommendations of the Senator for social Affairs and health Melanie Leonhard (43, SPD), which has called on the locals to stick to the basic rules.

Law enforcement officials had to close several schools due to gross violations of the rules. In total, the police checked 26 places: 12 clubs, 8 restaurants, 4 bars, one pub and one outdoor cinema. The most common violations the absence of protective masks and disinfectants.

Now there will be consequences

Martin Helfrich, the representative of the Ministry of health: “Now we focus on other measures.” According to policy, Hamburg is planning to ban the sale of alcohol in the city centre. These are extreme measures, by which the city administration will try to fight with disregard for rules.
