The Ministry of infrastructure and the Ministry of internal Affairs signed a joint action plan on the safety on country roads.

The joint action plan provides for strengthening the control over transportation of passengers, including during the holiday season, and transportation of oversized and dangerous goods.
According to the Deputy head of the national police Alexander Fatsevich, the Ministry of infrastructure and the Ministry of internal Affairs signed a joint action plan, because one of the main tasks of the National police is providing security on the roads of the country.
Deputy head of the National police of Ukraine noted that Ukraine today continues the holiday season. In this regard, a significant number of people moved along the roads of Ukraine.
“We are not too good statistics, in the first place with passengers. Therefore, our task is to strengthen control and struggle against illegal carriers. And today we are holding a briefing to the citizens realized this and took it very seriously,” – said Alexander Fatsevich.
He also noted that another important issue is the transportation of oversized and dangerous goods. From-for violations of the rules of such transportation there have been a number of accidents. In addition, the fixed facts of damage to roadway, and they, in turn, also lead to road accidents.

“Therefore, our task today – Ukrtransagent and the National police to ensure the safety of citizens on the road they deserve,” – said the Deputy head of the national police, adding that this idea is the main message of the joint action plan between the two agencies.
