To talk about the abolition of the visa regime for trips of citizens of Ukraine to Canada yet.
This was stated by Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, answering a question of UKRINFORM.
“We look forward to in the future to have a constructive dialogue on visa-free regime with Ukraine, but while this question is not,” said Trudeau.
He acknowledged that this issue often arises in discussions at different levels between representatives of the two countries. “During my conversations with President Poroshenko during communication between the members of the government, this question comes up fairly regularly. We have a reliable and comprehensive system with clear indicators that must be achieved for a start, consider bezveze”, – said the Prime Minister of Canada.
Trudeau said that Canada is trying to in any way support “friends in Ukraine” in a difficult time.
“We work over strengthening of institutions, civil society development, reform of the judicial and law enforcement systems, as well as the fight against corruption. We are happy to work with Ukraine in these areas”, – concluded the head of the government of Canada.
