Today, June 1, citizens of Ukraine officially received the right to cross the border with Turkey on internal ID cards. This was announced by Ukraine’s Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Sibiga.
“Met the first flight from Kiev with the Ukrainian, who crossed the Turkish border on the basis of ID-card – agreement runs from today”, – the Ambassador wrote on his Twitter page.
Recall that effective from June 1, the agreement between Ukraine and Turkey, according to which the citizens of both countries can travel by ID card, was signed on March 14. In three weeks the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution on its approval.
