Fenugreek is often added to the curry to create an even more distinctive taste. But it turns out, this plant could make it more acute, not only in curry, but our sex life. The researchers found that taking fenugreek representatives of the stronger sex have the right to expect to increase your male libido than 25%.
The staff of the Centre for integrative clinical and molecular medicine in Brisbane has been asked 60 healthy men age 25 to 52 years old to take fenugreek extract for six weeks, twice a day. In order to assess their level of male libido, researchers have developed a special scale with which recorded changes after three and six weeks of observations.
At the end of the study the average increase libido in test subjects ranged from 16.1 to 20.6 points, or 28%. But in the control group, where the men took pacifiers, libido plummeted.
Fenugreek contains saponins components, and scientists believe that they stimulate the production of male sex hormones, including testosterone. “Our study showed a significant increase in sexual functions and the quality of life sexualni after applying fenugreek”, – reads the statement of Australian scientists.
Fenugreek is a very popular vegetable crop in Asia, it is widely used in Indian cooking. Its leaves and seeds were treated with fever during the time of existence of Ancient Egypt.
