Businessman Mikhailov filed a new lawsuit against Navalny

Businessman Sergei Mikhailov (“Michas”) filed a lawsuit against politician Alexei Navalny. He demands to oblige the blogger to remove the post “still gave Putin watch Sergei Mikhailov, the head of Solntsevo criminal group” from the site navalny.com in the course of a week. In addition, Mikhailov has filed an appeal against the decision of the Lublin court, which had lost the Bulk. In an interview with Rain the businessman has told about what he wants from the policy, and also explained why the press Secretary of Vladimir Putin Dmitry Peskov has refused to comment on the story with the rewarding businessman the “presidential clock”.

In the Lublin court Mikhailov tried to collect on 250 thousand rubles from the Fund of struggle against corruption, and Navalny himself for the mention of himself as the leader of the Solntsevo OPG. But was unable to convince the court that the plaintiff and Mikhailov, mentioned in the publication, the same person.

 

In conversation with journalists, the businessman said that he is not seeking any money or removal of the film about the family of the Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika, and only waiting for a public apology. If the Bulk they will bring, Mihailov is ready to withdraw his lawsuit.

 

At the meeting with journalists on Friday Mikhailov also once again commented on the episode with the clock, which, according to him, the businessman was awarded by President Putin. Peskov earlier denied the award.

Sergey Mikhailov is often referred to in the media as the alleged leader of Solntsevskaya criminal group. In 1989, he was arrested on suspicion of extortion, a year and a half spent under investigation, but the case was then closed. In 1996 Mikhailov was arrested in Switzerland, suspected him of involvement in money laundering and organized crime. However, two years later, the jury completely acquitted Mikhailov, and then the authorities paid a Russian record compensation equivalentus $500 thousand.
