The Deputy of the state Duma of the Russian Federation is convinced that the Russians drink a lot.
Odious Russian politician, state Duma Deputy and LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky said that the Russian nation is abusing alcohol during the Christmas holidays.
In connection with this trend it requires to celebrate new year’s “vacation” and replace them with additional days during the holidays.
“New year holidays again, and statistics show that from 1 to 10 January, from alcohol abuse prematurely killed 20 thousand people. Well, why do it? Who does that? The state Duma, you leave rest days, but let it be additional leave, the man himself will decide when to rest,” – said Zhirinovsky.
According to the politician, in the new year holidays residents of Russia for abusing alcohol. He also said that the reason for such trends: “what else do you do if he’s not busy in some work”.
“There must still achieve two us vacation: 30 calendar days and 15 – when he wants to, then uses,” said the leader of LDPR.

General holidays, in his opinion, Russia should only be three – 1 Jan, 9 may (Victory Day) and June 12 (Russia Day).
