Bummer: the robber managed to attack karate

The man easily defeated the criminal.

In the British city of Leicester is a burglar, who decided to make Christmas an armed RAID on the store, is very badly chosen target. The shop owner, 43-year-old Sibu Kuruvilla, turned out to be a black belt holder in karate.

At first the criminal was caught by surprise Sibu, threatening him with a gun and demanding the cash register open. However, the former chef Kuruvilla quickly took himself in hand and gave the raider a worthy rebuff, using his skills of karate. Sibu, through which ran one of his officers, disarmed the robber, knocking him to the floor and held pressed to the floor for 13 minutes until the police arrived.

“He didn’t expect this! Thought his money would get him easy and he can handle it for two minutes,” says the shop owner. He also added that the criminal pleaded to let him go and promised never to come to this store. “But I said to him: “Here you may not return. But to attack someone else.“ I hope he learned his lesson. And will try to get better,” he told reporters Kuruvilla.

It is also reported that during the incident, two little girls Sibu, seven and nine, were at the office store and fearfully watching the events, looking at the screen of a surveillance camera.
