Bulgaria recalled its Ambassador from Moscow.
Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov said on Friday that Bulgaria would not expel Russian diplomats in connection with the poisoning of former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal in Salisbury. About it reports Reuters.
Bulgaria expressed its solidarity with its allies in the EU and NATO, and recalled its Ambassador from Moscow for consultations, said Borisov. But stressed that further action is required additional evidence.
“Being at the head of the European Council, we must support the communication channel, as was done in times of excessive tension in our region with Turkey. We must do the same with Russia”, – said Borisov.
“At this stage we do not think that should expel Russian diplomats and officials,” – Borisov said after a meeting of the security Council of the government.
