Nikolay Kostov was appointed chief coach of “Steel” from Kamensky.
The coach “Became” Kostov replaced the Yeghishe Melikyan, who announced his resignation after the match of the tenth round of the Premier League against Marseille (1:1).
The coaching staff Kostov entered Nedelcho Matushev (assistant coach), Kyrylo Nesterenko (trainer) and Igor Bilan (goalkeeping coach).
To your duties, the cost will begin from the second of October, and his debut as head coach of the “Steel” will be held October 14 in the home match against Zorya.
On the next Premier League match against “Heather” (October 1 to at 17:00) the team will be led by acting head coach Kyrylo Nesterenko.
Kostov is well known in the Ukrainian football. Bulgarian specialist has previously worked with FC Metalurh Donetsk (2008-2010), “Karpaty” (2012-2013) and “Tavria” (2014). His main achievement was reaching the final of the Ukrainian Cup in 2010 and fourth place in the championship in the 2008-2009 season.
“Steel” after ten rounds is the Premier League the last place (2 wins, 1 draw, 7 defeats).
