Prime Minister of Bulgaria Ognyan of Gerdjikov intends to start negotiations with EU States on the issue of accession to the Eurozone.
The head of the transitional Cabinet of Ministers said during a press conference in Sofia, reports the correspondent of UKRINFORM.
“Bulgaria meets three of four criteria, to take the first step towards accession to the Eurozone. There is another, equally important criterion. We are talking about the beginning of the process agreed with all member States of the European Union”, – said Gerdjikov.
However, the head of the interim government is not sure that the “ambitions of joining the Euro can be implemented in the period of work of the government official” because the government under his leadership is to work a little more than two months.
The new government of Bulgaria will be adopted by results of the early parliamentary elections on March 26.
