Avdiivka coke plant of Metinvest group after three months of downtime has commissioned a second production wing.
This is with reference to the press service of “Metinvest” reported Biznestsentr.
“Work resumed four structural units of the enterprise. This gave the opportunity to work chetyrehkantnomu all the team of coke,” reports “Metinvest”.
The plant was shut down since late January, due to persistent power failures in the fighting. Two of the coke plant of the four was transferred to the hot conservation. Was stopped in the chemical Department. Some of the workers bred in the paid simple.
Until may 2017, the city power supply is provided from the occupied territory, and the power lines feeding the plant, passed through the combat zone. It was decided to build new transmission lines on the Ukrainian territory. In early may, coke has tapped into a new power transmission line.
Now Avdiivka coke launched coke shop No. 3 and No. 4, desulfurization No. 2 and trap No. 2. “It is possible to increase daily gross production of coke from 5.5 thousand to 7.5 thousand tons,” the company said.
