Sergey Bubka will continue to lead the national Olympic Committee of Ukraine.
Bubka re-election as President of the NOC of Ukraine was held on today’s report-election General Assembly. To lead the national Olympic Committee of the legendary pole vaulter will be at least until December 2022.
“The Assembly was attended by the athletes-Olympians, heads of national federations, regional cells, the Olympic Committee, sports societies, representatives of public and state organizations.

He serves on the Board of world sport, being a member of the Executive Committee of the International Olympic Committee and first Vice-President of the International Association of athletics federations,” writes the official website of the NOC of Ukraine.
It is worth noting that one of the Vice presidents of NOC was elected head of the football Federation of Ukraine Andriy Pavelko, whose name is associated with several corruption scandals.
Sergey Bubka heads the national Olympic Committee of Ukraine since 2005.
