Jump to the iconic 68-year-old Mike Smith, wearing his famous red uniform. In the sky he climbed, along with two veterans of world war II — Fred Glover and Ted, Pierre. Trio in red suits made a parachute jump out of a plane hovering over the English city of Salisbury.
For Smith this jump was the hundredth and first seven he did when he served in the Royal corps of transport. The other two companion also are familiar with parachutes — they still regularly doing jumping in various military commemorative dates.
Both the veteran arrived at the scene of jumping at a special taxi from London. This time the jump was timed to coincide with a charity event to raise funds, which was organized by the hospital in Chelsea. Thus, they will help the local railroad.
