British politicians are planning to start negotiations only in the end of October.
The UK government will postpone the next stage of negotiations on Brexit until December of this year as it is awaiting the results of the elections in Germany.
According to the channel, the authorities expect that the changes in the Free democratic party of Germany, which is part of the coalition with the party of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, will simplify the negotiations on Brexit.
However, as noted, the EU hoped to complete the first phase of negotiations by October.
Finance Minister Philip Hammond and foreign trade Minister Liam Fox said that Britain will leave the EU and its common market by March 2019.
