BPP and people’s front is no longer negotiating about the Association

Poroshenko supported the idea of unification, and at the meeting of the faction, this issue was not raised.

The parliamentary faction “Block of Petro Poroshenko” and “popular front” came out of the negotiations on the unification into a single political force. This happened on the background of obvious cooling of relations between the ruling parties. Each of the parties suggested that the conditions under which the negotiators were not ready to accept.

We will remind, the information that the PPB and the PF began negotiating the merger came in June of this year. The main reason for this was the creation of a common list for the campaign for the next parliamentary elections.

But even then there were certain problematic issues in each party. So, the BPP was not too happy with the low rating of the “popular front”. NF, however, insisted that the Union must take place in proportion 50/50. That, too, caused outrage in the Pro-presidential deputies. In response to “veterans” declared that are ready to go to the presidential elections themselves, which considerably complicated the nomination of Poroshenko for the second term, because both political forces are working in the same electoral field.

In addition, Poroshenko also did not support the idea of unification, and at the meeting of the faction, this issue was not raised.

Now, according to information from sources such as the BPP and NF of advice on this subject permanently discontinued. This happened on the background of obvious cooling of relations between the ruling parties. The reason for this are the strained relations between Poroshenko with the leaders of the NF Arsen Avakov.
