In less than three years, as in our hands we got the data about box office in the US box office over the weekend in anticipation of Halloween. On the top, like in the old days, the film series “Saw”. And although, as you can see, we are talking about it almost a poem, in fact, is not so clear.
“Saw 8” really topped the charts, but box office the film brothers Spirig was lower than the seventh part, that is, return the Constructor held, but was not triumphant. The film grossed over 16 million dollars with a budget of 10 “millions”, so no doubt will bring a profit, but the profit brought in, and “Blair Witch: a New Chapter” and “Calls”, and, say, the remake of “Nightmare on elm street” – but the impetus for the development of their franchise, none of these films is not given. It’s hard to tell, but judging by the starting duties the eighth part of “Saw”, not the fact that will revive the series and this movie.
The lead of this picture in the top due to very weak charges of our competitors. Fallen to second place Comedy “Halloween of Medai 2” has collected a total of 10 million, and reaching the third “Geostorm” will not get 6 and “millions”. What could I say – a total of a dozen first emptied the wallets of Americans just by 56.6 million dollars in less than one weekend gaining real hit movies.
On this background it looks even more spectacular failure of black Comedy George Clooney “Suburbicon”, collected at the start of the rental less than 3 million.e.. Note also that in limited release in the U.S. came the Thriller/drama “only See you”, charges which, however, was very conservative, even for painting in 283 of the cinema.
