Box office USA (20 – 22 October 2017): “Geostorm” and “the Snowman” failed

First place in the top of the American box office took African-American Comedy “Halloween of Medai 2”. Fees of the film, the main star of which is Tyler Perry (“I, Alex Cross” – this is it), amounted to more than 21 million dollars in that screens the project went not very much.

Worse made disaster film “Geostorm” – 13 million with a budget of 120 “millions” is not even a failure, and “provide”. However, in connection with real natural disasters that struck the United States during the advertising campaign of this film, from the “Geostorm” distributors were not expecting special things – in the end, the fees exceeded even a modest 10-million forecast.

But the Thriller “the Snowman” failed without any reservations. Yes, the picture was published at a very moderate number of screens, but still – 3,4 “Leman” and the pathetic eighth place in the top at the start is just awful. Reason?.. It seems that the movie just was bad, catastrophically bad – very few positive reviews of critics and perhaps less positive feedback from the audience.

We will add that in limited release there were two interesting for us film “Killing sacred deer” and “to Kill for like” collected a mere penny, but greater it is to count it was impossible – too few copies, too few rooms.
