“Saw 8” was launched in theaters Russia in third place, but with quite a decent box office receipts, which the film nearly enough to become the highest-grossing part of the franchise at the domestic box office. Yes, it’s hard to believe, but the previous “Saw” was not in our country some greatest hits, except, perhaps, the seventh, which was released in 3D and has collected more than 165 million rubles – for all time.
The eighth “Saw” at the start made charges more than 131 million, so the record of the seventh part, must fall in the near future.
As for the box-office, the first place has occupied “the Last hero” – a fairy tale for the whole family production of the Russian division of Disney. The film became one of the best this year among domestic releases with fees of under 460 million (and approximately 474 given the preview).
The second line in a scandalous costume melodrama “Matilda”, about which there is nothing we will not write, because already got the hype around mediocre from an artistic point of view, commercially disastrous movie, to put it mildly, a controversial figure of the last Russian Emperor.
Better think about another genre release this weekend – fiction Thriller “skyline 2” has been in the top in seventh place, but this can hardly be considered a failure. Yes, the first part brought a lot more, but that movie almost nobody liked, so to achieve the best results in the sequel had no chance.
