The SBU commented on the murder of the former Deputy of the state Duma of the Russian Federation Denis Boronenkov.
SBU has not provided protection to slain former Deputy of the state Duma of the Russian Federation Denis Voronenkov. About this in his Facebook said the speaker of the SBU Elena Gitlyanskaya.
“Vasily Gritsak (head of SBU, – ed) stressed that the common information in the media to grant him the protection of the SBU is false,” said Gilanskaya.
According to her, currently the criminal proceedings are investigated by investigators of the national police under the procedural management of Prosecutor’s office of Kiev.
Around noon in the center of Kiev unknown persons have shot Boronenkov, who had previously received the Ukrainian citizenship.
President Petro Poroshenko called the incident an “act of state terrorism by Russia”.
