Airport plans in October to move the 10-millionth passenger.
Boryspil international airport in September 2018 passenger traffic increased by 20 per cent to almost 1.3 million passengers compared with September last year. In just 9 months of this year, the airport handled nearly 9.5 million passengers, which is by 17.5% more than the same period of 2017 (almost 8.1 million passengers).
“The growth of passenger flow in Boryspil suggests that we work strictly according to plan. In October congratulations to our 10 millionth passenger”, – the press service quoted the General Director of the airport Paul Ryabikina.
Also in Boryspil noted that the growth of the airport is three times higher than the European average, so it is stable, from 2017, is the three leaders of the major European airports on this measure.
Borispol airport is the largest in Ukraine with a total footprint of approximately 1 hectares and Has two runways: one with a length of 4 m, width 60 m, the second – 3,5 thousand meters, width of 63 m. On its territory there are four passenger terminals and a mail and cargo complex.
By the end of 2017 Borispol set a new record – served 10.6 million passengers, which is by 22.1% more than in 2016.
