Bondarenko reached the semifinals of the tournament in Tashkent

Ukrainian tennis player Kateryna Bondarenko defeated the Japanese in the quarterfinals of the tournament on hard courts in Tashkent.

Match with Kurumi Nara Bondarenko was supposed to play yesterday but due to rain the match of 1/4 finals has been postponed to Friday.

At the start of the match Bondarenko dictate the opponent of their terms in the first set, the Ukrainian made three breaks with one missed game on his serve.

During the second batch all went to a comfortable victory tennis player from Krivoy Rog, but Bondarenko in the second match in a row managed to lose a solid lead. Taking the 5:2, Catherine lost five games in a row and allowed Nara to level the score in sets.

In deciding Bondarenko took a break of 1:3, then gave up three consecutive games. Nara also did not maintain his advantage – the Japanese woman in the final three games won only one point and gave Bondarenko the ticket to 1/2 finals.

Bondarenko in the match of 1/4 final made 3 ACE, made 7 double faults, scored 9 of 16 break points and won 63% of points with first serve.

Next opponent Ekaterina Bondarenko in Tashkent will be former world number two from Russia Vera Zvonareva. The match will be played in a few hours.
