BMW will release more electric cars

The company will bring in 12 models of electric cars by 2025.

Representatives of BMW said that by 2025, the range of 25 models will be electrified vehicles, including 12 electric cars.

BMW CEO Harald Krueger told reporters that by 2025 electric cars will be able to drive up to 700 miles without recharging.

The assurances Kruger, electrified vehicle options will appear in the sports division of BMW M and Rolls-Royce.

To begin the process of transition to the motors, a company must ensure that its units are capable of mass production of electric vehicles and transmissions. So at the moment the BMW group is investing in the modernization of their companies, which by 2020 needs to begin to produce cars with all types of powertrains, including hybrid and fully electric.

It is expected that at the motor show in Frankfurt in mid-September 2017, BMW will show a new electric model. Most likely, the exhibition will debut a concept sedan. Commodity version of the electric car will take in the model lineup of the company the gap between i3 and i8.
