Blocking Russian sites: Facebook attendance has increased dramatically

The fastest growing Facebook audience is in the East of Ukraine, slower, just – in Kiev.

Analysis of coverage of the Internet audience of Ukraine on the second day after the information about blocking Russian sites shows a clear trend of growth in the number of users of Facebook.

It is reported by TNS KANTAR, working in marketing research.

May 17 compared to last week’s coverage of the social network increased by 37%.

In regional terms, the largest increase is observed in Facebook in the East of Ukraine – plus 58%. Other indicators are as follows: North – 37% South – 33%, the centre – 28% West – 28%. The lowest growth rate was observed in Kyiv – plus 17%.

“Faster than the innovations react members aged 14-20 years and provide the largest increase in Facebook audience”, – noted in the company.
