“Blade runner 2049” is 46 minutes longer than the original film

Remember your emotions at the moment when it became known that the events of “the Dark tower” will fit in a half hour of screen time? It is clear that the creators of the idea the first film had to act as a sort of prologue, and not to cram the plot of the entire epic by Stephen king, but a miserable hour-thirty? Seriously, Carl Arsel? Not that the scale of this story.

The creators of the film “blade Runner 2049” (Blade Runner 2049) chose a different path. They were not to adjust ourselves to anyone, artificially expanding the audience; I crammed my head with thoughts about whether popcornia young people to sit on ass for more than two hours. Denis Villeneuve and the company just rented an adult movie: rated R for scenes of violence, nudity and foul language and with an official duration of 2 hours, 32 minutes excluding credits. And it is 46 minutes more than had Ridley Scott in the original picture.
