Volunteer Lesya Litvinova told us an amazing story about how bitcoin helped to save the life of seriously ill 9-year-old boy. She wrote about this on his page in Facebook.
The volunteer reported a 9-year-old boy who is ill with chronic intestinal obstruction. Due to illness he lost a third of its weight. The treatment of the child need 26 900 euros.
According to Litvinova, 100 000 UAH on treatment of the boy “fell absolutely fantastic way.”
— A 15-year guy texted. He really wanted to help frolovskoe, but he was not. Were those bitcoins. He helped me to open a profile and threw him 0,18 bitcoin. I tried to figure out how to turn into familiar money, broke the head and postponed until better times. Oh and I forgot, of course. The year was hard. And the amount was equal to several kilograms of buckwheat, — said Litvinov.
— This fall, I remembered. Long remembered the password, digging into the mail and in the end found that in terms of normal money, there lies $ 400. Surprised and decided to leave for a rainy day. Yesterday a black day. It became clear that we urgently need to find a large amount of money to save one boy… On the account was slightly less than $ 4,000. To say I’m a PU*Nela — almost silent… Today I have listed about mom 100 000 UAH. It is about 1/8 of the required amount. The efforts of one man, — the volunteer noted.
According to her, this amount helped to give a sick child a real chance at life
