The chorus of prominent critics of bitcoin was joined by Larry Flink, head of the world’s largest company asset management BlackRock. In an interview with CNBC he said that bitcoin can be considered “the index of money laundering”.
“Bitcoin just shows the level of demand for money laundering in the world. That’s all. This is an index of money laundering,” said Flink.
Company BlackRock was founded in 1988 and is based in new York. As of July 2017, the amount of assets managed by BlackRock was valued at $5.7 trillion.
Earlier this week the head of Gary Shilling & Co Gary Shilling suggested that the Creator of bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto may in fact be a fraud.
