The latest game called Dragon Age: Inquisition appeared in 2014.
BioWare isn’t hiding that is the next game in the Dragon Age series, but before the submitted new evidence. Most likely, the ring portion moves to full production.
Creative Director of the series Mike Laidlaw (Mike Laidlaw) has a conversation with authors podcast The 1099. The developer said that Dragon Age “something happens”, but BioWare is currently hiring many new staff to work on the franchise.
Other details Laidlaw did not disclose, but probably the new Dragon Age moved into the stage of full-scale development. Typically, developers begin to create games in a small team, considering all sorts of ideas, and the main team connected only when approved concept and drafted the General plan of production. Although, of course, BioWare still may be some not so.
Interestingly, Laidlaw also remembered Jade Empire 2. According to him, once BioWare was seriously thinking about a potential sequel. Laidlaw believes that Jade Empire 2 still has a chance for revival.
Recall that among the writers of the next Dragon Age there really is Alexis Kennedy (Kennedy Alexis), a leading writer of the Sunless Sea.
