Bill Nighy in search of the killers in new footage from the film “the Golem”

Greedy paws Zone Horror reached a new poster and a dozen fresh shots from the Victorian (made in the UK!) the horror-Thriller “the Golem” (The Limehouse Golem), in which the star of “a different world” actor bill Nighy is looking for a predecessor of Jack the Ripper.

The film is an adaptation of a detective novel Peter Ackroyd “the Process of Elizabeth Cree” (in the USA the book was published under the name of “Dan Leno and the Limehouse Golem”). The script was written by Jane Goldman (“the Woman in black,” “House of strange children Miss peregrine”), directed by Juan Carlos Medina (“Insensitive”), and starring, in addition to the aforementioned Nighy, Olivia Cooke (“Bates Motel”, “Ouija: Board of the Devil”), Sam Reid (“Modern Reaper”) and Douglas Booth (“Pride and prejudice and zombies”).

Victorian London, 1880. Dangerous area of the city, the London eye, the stunning series of brutal murders. Scared to death, the people believe that these heinous and ruthless crimes involved none other than the Golem is a clay creature from mythology, animated by magic. Panic grows, and the killing continues. The police don’t know what to do, and as a scapegoat main thing in this case is assigned to an experienced detective, inspector Kildare.

In Russia “the Golem” was coming 21 September 2017.
