German biathlete Simon Schempp took the last gold of the 52nd world Championships biathlon in Hochfilzen (Austria).
Mass start is the only discipline of the current season, not belonging to Martin Fourcade. It is quite natural that the world championship gold in the race with mass start took an interim leader in the fight for the Small crystal globe. Simon Schempp with clean shooting put the beautiful point in the main start of the season.
After the first firing line 18 athletes without mistakes. In this group was not Fourcade, who was forced to catch up with the leaders on the course. Using calm, the athletes continued to demonstrate perfect shooting on the equator of the race in the leading group consisted of 15 people.
After the third approach to shooting seven people went without mistakes. By the final shooting simultaneously began eight athletes Schempp and Eder shot clean and ran on final lap. Martin Fourcade had two penalties and was eliminated from among the contenders for a medal.
